12/15/2003 - Ripon Relay for Life Website

Working with a local chapter of the American Cancer Society and a group of volunteers from Ripon, i.t. Interactive created a web site for the Ripon Relay for Life event coming up in the spring of 2004.  The web site, provided at no cost, incorporates a flexible design and full on-line updating capabilities by the committee members.

The American Cancer Society’s Relay For Life is a unique celebration of life in honor and in memory of those touched by cancer.  Join us for entertainment, music, food, prizes and fun.

Teams of 8 –15 people walk, run or jog through the gym and hallways of Ripon High School.  Teams come together for one goal – to raise money through donations to help in the fight against cancer.  Relay For Life is for anyone and everyone – it is not athletically challenging or competitive.

What makes Relay For Life an event that will be remembered is the sense of pride, camaraderie, and personal satisfaction you’ll feel knowing that you’ve helped raise awareness that cancer can and will be beaten.  The funds raised go a long way toward helping the American Cancer Society continue its programs of research, education, advocacy and service to cancer patients and their families.

Everyone is invited to the Relay to enjoy food, games and entertainment.
