3/27/2010 - Beware of this domain registration 'invoice' scam

Be aware of invoices you receive in the mail from a company called Domain Registry of America.   Their tactic is to send out notices that appear to be invoices for the renewal of your domain name.   You are asked to submit a payment or call them today!

This is essentially a scam.   What they are trying to do is to hijack your domain and become the registrar.     Their pricing is not that great and their business practices are somewhat shady.

If you are a customer of i.t.Interactive, LLC, we never use Domain Registry of America to register your name.

Never submit a payment to Domain Registry of America.   Please contact us first if you have any questions.  We maintain a database of all our domains and send out a renewal notice via email a few weeks before your name expires.   We always coordinate the renewal notice with you to ensure your name (and website) remain active.

If you have any questions or concerns about the registration of your domain name, please don't hesitate to contact Ed Fischer at ed@itinteractive.com.  Or, give me a call at 920-288-2167.
